The county has filed an amended answer, asserting a few new defenses.
I don't have it with me right now, but this post is a placeholder for making a list of the false claims in the defenses. E.g. that the case is moot, that I don't have standing, that sort of thing. I need to do a set of interrogatories to explore the claims they are making.

The court has granted the Attorney General's motion to intervene. David Arthur will represent the state.

Recently (9/3/08) I filed a new motion for a preliminary injunction, memo in support, and motions to compel discovery and to certify questions to the Indiana Supreme Court. The text is here. (http://joellpalmer.blogspot.com/2004_09_01_archive.html).
As of today, I haven't received any response from opposing counsel, but there will probably be hard copy waiting for me when I get back to Indiana.
